"Hidden gem"

A gem of a stay! We leisurely walked the philosophers path and city from the villa each day. Wonderful food, entertainments, and temples on foot! The property itself is amazing, wonderful view out of the bedroom. The tile and wood is so lively and lovely. Calm edge of the city. 10/10 will stay here again

"Wonderful villas in a great location."

Beautiful villas, very clean and comfortable. Great location with a beautiful view over kyoto. Could walk or train to most attractions very easily. Highly recommend, would stay there again.

Clean, tidy, lovely light space, best bath ever, quiet location, easy laundry facility access on site. Very special place to be able to stay.

Nothing really! As a note for others - however not something we did not like - the property is at the top of a short but very steep driveway which you can’t drive up, so might not be easy for some.

"Luxurious stay in Kyoto"

Very beautiful accomodation in a very scenic area. Stunning lounge, bathroom and view from the bedroom. Really loved having a miniature Japanese garden which you could open the door from the lounge out on to.

Acoustics - noisy inside the accomodation due to the open plan (waking up with water flushing etc) The kitchen was nice to look at, but not functional for making any meals (i couldn’t see any knife or cutting board), only a microwave and a small fridge which didn’t keep things very cool.
