The Regency - Historic residences by the sea

Beutiful apparment in a very lovely historic house, great location . Very peaceful

The facilities were second to none, clean and the bonus lounge area was great. The gardens were brilliant, shame the weather didnt allow us to use them. We travelled as a family group 2 couples and a 4 month old baby. Everything we needed was easily available.

Bit of a hill to walk up but this will always be the case in a coastal town and nothing too difficult.

Lots of space in the accommodation and communal rooms and garden were an added bonus. Well equipped kitchen and great shower. Getting anything additional that we needed was arranged quickly and efficiently. Bed was extremely comfortable and the duvet was warm enough for a summer stay. Everything was clean. Check in arrangements were clear and helpful information in the apartment. Great view from the lounge area to the garden and we enjoyed catching the sunrise on several occasions. Short walk downhill to the town and noise from through traffic was not an issue. Good safety and warning signage around the property. Helpful to have the additional toilet in the accommodation.

Bedroom was compact with the shower room and limited space for storage of luggage. We knew parking was limited due to the number of properties in the area and only occasionally had to park more than 50 yards uphill.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Check in directions were easy.

Very spacious, access to the garden, lounge, dinning room. Building was interesting as old school and has lot of character and history. The furniture and the layout of the rooms are well thought. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable with direct access to the garden so ideal for the dog. We did appreciate to have garden furnitures to our disposal. Although no staff, all was very well explained in great details from the directions to the use of common parts of the building.

We had a very pleasant four night stay in this nice, large comfortably furnished suite, located in a quiet area minutes away from the centre of Ilfracombe. The best praise we can give an apartment is to say that we would definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.
