Doma Rooftop Apartment

Wszystko, co potrzeba, jest na miejscu. Bardzo dobre wyposażenie, czysto, okolica raczej spokojna, blisko do centrum Heraklionu, a do/od lotniska kilka minut.

W zasadzie nic. Momentami dość głośno z powodu bliskości lotniska, ale jeśli potrzeba przenocować po przylocie lub przed odlotem, to nie ma lepszej opcji.

Really clean apartment. Lovely terrace with great views. Excellent air conditioners and very comfortable bed. Very basic kitchen but alright for overnight stay. On 3rd floor but stairs were OK not too steep. Parking is OK if you don't arrive late. Narrow road with some parking. Good supermarket nearby. Xaldiadakis. Turn right. Keep walking until you get there! We arrived not long before closing, 9pm but managed to buy a loaf, water and some cheese for dinner.

Smaller interior than impression from photos although the bedroom was separate from the kitchen/sitting area. Shower tray was very small and with no screens or shower curtain water could not be kept in the tray. Raki was available but to be honest a bottle of cold water in the fridge would have been better but that's just me! Others may disagree. Pillows we're thick and hard which was a shame as bed was great. Others mentioned cake. We weren't given any but maybe as overnighters we wouldn't get it.

Doma is very close to the car rental BeepIt and the airport so it's perfect if you are leaving from Heraklion and need a place. The house is very clean and welcoming.

It's good to know that early in the morning, there is a market in a few streets near the house. We parked the rented car there as there isn't any sign, but once the car is stuck between stands it might be difficult to get out. Luckily we got there as they started (7-ish AM) and found nice people who helped us.

Servizi poco chiari, l'acqua la signora ce l'ha portata subito, però ho dovuto scriverle. La wifi non sono riuscita ad attivarla, ma non mi pare normale chiamare per ogni cosa...nel complesso buona struttura

The location is perfect residential area, yet closer to port and it made easy for our seajet trip to santorini. We have an open terrace with a cloth stand to dry our wet beach clothes. Everything was good. The host lives downstairs we reached out via phone when we couldn't figure out the AC working principle first :) (as it does not work when the doors / windows are open) and Dina helped us with clear instructions. It was a super clean apartment which we have total freedom and comfort. We enjoyed the stay.

Shower area is small which splashes water on the bathroom floor, but it is totally fine as we just fresh up and leave for our tourists spots and dries up when we reach back.
