Eagles Dôme

j'ai passé une nuit au gite , tout etait parfait, le dome super propre , le repas excellent , les hotes super gentils . je recommande

Het uitzicht en het ontbijt

Deze overnachting was een totale flop!!! Er was geen douche, geen handdoeken, geen airco, geen opgemaakt bed, geen föhn, geen elektrische waterkoker, geen kledingkast, kortom het was een tent op de stenen. De foto’s op booking.com komen totaal niet overeen met de plek waar de tent stond, de overdekte buitenruimte, zoals op de foto’s, was niet aanwezig bij de tent. De eigenaar was niet aanwezig, niet bereikbaar en we konden dus niet met hem in overleg. Degene die de gites naast de 2 tenten runt, beaamde onze klachten: we waren niet de eersten. Deze man verzorgde het ontbijt en dat was prima. Dit was, in onze reis, een dure overnachting waar we veel van verwacht hadden, het is een flop geworden en dat is teleurstellend na 500 km rijden.

It was a cool experience being on a Moroccan farm surrounded by other farmers. You could tell not many tourists pass through which is something we really enjoyed. The host was great and hospitable, evening cooking us dinner (though you do pay for this I say this because it wasn't clear until the next morning) and we had a wonderful breakfast which was included. If people were passing through the area I would definitely recommend Eagles Dome.

Uhm, we had expected a bit more nature surrounding us at least that is how the pictures show it, but you are on a farm and an active farm right in front of the tent. The bed wasn't made something we found out in the evening when we were going to bed. There was one sheet in the closet that we used for the bottom and needed to ask for another to separate the bigger blankets which the host gave to us without any issues. Please also understand the facilities are really basic so don't expect too much as far as toilet/shower facilities. And don't be double like us and bring a sweater to Morocco as we were pretty high up so it got chilly at night in June.
