Villa Surin

Location was good especially around new year to avoid taxis and traffic jams.

Pool was Green on arrival but told it would be fine the next day. Unfortunately as the week moved on I developed an ear infection which required treatment before we left and for another week or so once back in Australia.

We were met at the villa at 1.30am in the morning after a midnight flight. The team had the fans and aircon running, we were handed cold towels and a welcome drink at 1.30am! It was fantastic we had a gardener come in every day to clean the pool area and test and treat the pool, and the cleaner was amazing and did a fantastic job, the villa was always very clean. We had 3 couples and 2 teen aged kids stay in the villa, it was the perfect size and accommodating for us all.

The Villa is showing signs of age, the top floor bathroom in the main Villa was leaking water into the living room area downstairs (we did notify the Villa staff) , the second bathroom downstairs shower head needs replacing. Some of the cupboard were coming loose and the light in the pool comes away and hangs in the pool. But these are all small fixes and shouldn’t deter any one from staying.

Would have been nice to have hot water in the bathroom sinks, only cold water supply available.

The location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Quite a few of the power points didn’t work and one of the bedroom aircons needed fixing but that was going to be sorted. The property is getting a little “tired” and will need some work in the future however, our family had a great time there and it was good value for money! Our cleaner / room attendant was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us!

It was a very comfortable villa, we enjoyed our stay there. The Villa is conveniently located near one of the main streets in Seminyak & very close to the supermarket. The water filter was very handy & we used it all the time. The staff were lovely & very attentive.

The property was older than it looks in the pics. There was no hot water in the downstairs bathroom in the main house. The lighting was poor in the bathrooms in the bedrooms located not in the main house. It really needs lighting above the mirrors similar to what it already has in the main house.
