Place is run by a European. That is the reason, why it is not typical African level. All pretty new and neatly maintained.

Extremely limited warm water to share with other rooms. If you do not hurry, you shower cold.

Everything was nice

As a Dane it was nice to get a touch of Denmark on my trip - mixed with local staff being service-minded. Room/bath perfect. The food is very good, too!

Food was good. The noise from the Mosque was terrible. Of allowing for worship, but one day the 5 a.m. calling went on for 2 hours, yelling via a microphone and no one could sleep. Insane.

Breakfast was great, the lodge was super comfortable and had everything we needed, even some toys and books for the kids.

Location was good

The Manager was very rude we had booked via booking.com and were allocated 3 rooms with private baths in each room when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist said we have shared baths outside we showed our booking email confirmation showing full details of our booking with numbered rooms which we had booked. The receptionist said said to speak to her manager on the phone who was very rude told us to pay an extra $90.00 for the rooms or cancel the booking and go elsewhere. After a long journey we were very tired in a strange town to us and did not know where to find another hotel so reluctantly we paid the extra money just so we could rest as the following morning we had to leave early at 5am for our next expedition. We have used booking.com lots of times before and have always got the proper rooms at the cost on our confirmation email. The extra costs with the rudeness is not acceptable. I hope booking.com will address this situation and get our refund with an apology.
