The Georgian Apartment

Great location a short walk from the train station and very close to the town centre and beach with busses running regularly nearby too. The property is located off the road with a large garden area at the front and is very quiet. No noise from the road or neighbours.

The property was not clean. The iron did not work. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were like bricks. We could only open one window in the whole apartment and that had to have a chair wedged underneath it to stay open. Unfortunately we were there during hot weather and it was stifling. We contacted the owner with our concerns but she refused to send a maintenance person or cleaner. She said she had personally cleaned the apartment herself the day before and told me that it was "only a b&b" and "if we wanted hotel standards we should have gone to one"! She offered us a 50% discount (we had stayed 1 night out of 5 at that point) which we refused as we had a very busy schedule and would not have been able to find alternative accommodation within the time period.

Fabulous location for our 5 week stay.

Lovely apartment in great location. The mattress could be more comfortable, but otherwise a really fantastic place and facilities to cook meals and relax.
