Desert Homestead Lodge

The staff were amazing from the front desk to the chef, they were so helpful and helped us navigate our way around the area and to the nearby sites. The food was also great. The location is so peaceful and relaxing really love the scenery .

The design of the bathroom can be much better.

The lodge location was good for us travelling from Sossusvlei to the south. Nice cabins en good chairs to sit outside. Comfortable and with a nice view. Horse ride in the morning was beautiful although a bit shorter than the indicated hour.

The dinner (we only stayed one night) was not good. The salmon was overcooked and the vegetables looked like they were not cooked at all. With 28 degrees outside we were dining inside regrettably. We missed a water cooker in the room. There is tea and coffee but you need to get hot water in a thermos in the main building.

Best place to stay @ Sossuvlei !!! GReat food, views and staff. Definitely recommend the excursion to the Big Daddy Dune and Deadvlei

Shower could be regulated hotter in room 2. Otherwise no complaints!!!

Compared to other options in the área, this lodge is really close to the entrance to Sossusvlei. The place is really nice and the family room was super spacious. Breakfast and dinner (included in the rate) were quite good.

Amazing place in the middle of desert with Mountain View. Tastefully decorated, comfortable lodges.
