Menjaga Bay

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Mountain-Bungalows direkt am Dschungel sind, und damit zurecht kommen, dass einiges an Getier (vor Allem Abends) unterwegs ist: Käfer, Motten, Mücken und Tausendfüssler. Für uns hat das allerdings kein Problem dargestellt.

Great place to stay with close proximity to pick up and drop offs for liveaboard departures from Labuan Bajo. Great snorkeling a short distance by kayak or paddle board (provided at no cost) from hotel. Was turtles, mantis shrimp and plenty of fish. Great sunsets at the bar at the end of the dock.

The property is on a mangrove and this is an island not an atoll, therefore the tides go in and out. If you are looking for a spot where the water is crystal clear off your bungalow this is not it. With that said, if you enjoy watching wildlife, the tides going out being the crab eating macaques which you can watch as they stick their hands into crab holes and eat. Personally I loved it, I just fear that this is being spun as the “Maldives of Indo” and I don’t want people to be surprised.

Value for money is just not there, the food is incredibly mediocre for the price you pay. Little things weren’t great either like there were no spoons in the room so I had to use a packet of sugar as a scoop to make coffee. Another big thing is the lack of an afternoon shuttle boat back to Labuan.. they have two in the morning and then a 5pm one.. makes no sense, a 2 or 3pm one would fit the schedule.

The resort was beautiful! Architecture was very compatible with the environment, food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful

Außergewöhnliche Häuser auf dem Wasser und eine wunderschöne Hotelanlage, die sich in die Natur integriert. Insgesamt ein schönes kleines Resort mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Gute kostenfreie Transfermöglichkeiten mit dem Boot und schöne Angebote für die Gäste: Von Touren zu den Komodo Inseln bis hin zu kostenfreien Kajaks mit denen man die nahe gelegenen Korallenriffe zum Schnorcheln erreichen kann.

Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, das Abendessen dagegen eher durchschnittlich.

Transfer en speed boat de 20 min, hotel loin de tout parfait pour déconnecter. Vue à couper le souffle et sunset bar très sympa le soir pour le coucher de soleil. Kayak et matériel de plongée gratuits, très sympa à faire en couple. Possibilité d’avoir le room service. Très belle piscine.

Nourriture très bonne mais choix un peu limité en termes d’options.
