More warmth

Everything was neat and modern. The location is also pefect and close to everything.

The host was communicative and receptive when we arrived earlier in the day than originally indicated. Key hand-over was efficient. The host provided some basics (salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar, and delicious rusks) and a small treat, which was appreciated. The flatlet is close to the parking area and easy to navigate with luggage. Inside the flatlet was clean, neat and had enough crockery/cutlery for our short stay. The bed was very comfy, and there were ample extra blankets in various spots around the rooms for extra warmth. Te host also provided several hangers, which were handy! The bathroom was small but neat, with soft towels. Water became warm quickly, and was nice and hot. It was a touch cold with the concrete floors in early winter (though there were quite a few carpets all around), but can be easily solved with a pair of slippers and a hot-water bottle. This place would be so nice in warmer weather, especially the day-bed outside on the porch. Netflix worked as advertised, and WiFi was fast enough enough (though the range dipped a bit in the bedroom). As indicated by other reviews, there is some sound transfer between the lower flatlets (I think we just had slightly louder neighbours who would talk loudly to each other when in different rooms) but this did not bother us much. We did also hear footsteps from above, but again, this was minimal and did not bother us. This would be a lovely place to stay for a longer while, pity we only did one night!

Nothing to complain about!

Not our first stay, and always our go-to place when in Yzerfontein. Spotlessly clean, friendly and thoughtful host, comfort at it's best. It has the most beautiful surroundings, birds chirping, sound of waves in the background.

There is nothing not to like. We love staying here.
