Haus Michau

The room was lovely. We had everything we needed and more. She even left us some snacks... thank you.

The street was a bit dodgy... I was not sure how safe the area was...

The design of the space is awesome - a blend of Hollywood glamour with an industrial edge. Think high-end, theatrical styling (small stage framed by velvet curtains) and carefully curated décor featuring iconic musicians. It felt immersive, like stepping into a high-end cocktail bar. The area is bigger than it looks, with a huge VERY comfortable bed and an equally impressive TV in the lounge setup. There’s a jacuzzi/spa bath in the bathroom area, with candles and string lights, adding to the feeling of opulence. My daughter and I loved this! What stood out was the attention to detail in every corner of this space. Anellise was exceptionally attentive ensuring we knew our way around. Did I mention the snacks left for us? We wanted to extend our stay but it was sadly booked. I heard the previous guests had the same problem. We’ll definitely be back!

The area was ok. I would not walk around alone or in the evenings though. Main street busy. West side not so save in my opinion. Ample parking on street, Basement parking save & secure. First impression very good.

I expected better attention to maintenance and deep cleaning on a Bookings.com booking with a rating of 9.5, especially because the booking was made way in advance. Changes were not permissible, Payment was no refundable, so what to do, fixing and deep cleaning cannot be done while we are there. replace towels with crisp white ones. Attend to leaks and ceiling damages. Change blinds to curtains. I did not enjoy passing the washing. Deep clean cupboard

Liked almost everything about the place.

Not that i didn't like the parking entrance and exit, but it requires for you to be sober at all times. Its a bit narrow especially if you have a big Car. Not complaining though...

Oh what did I like about Haus Michau ?? Literally everything !! Surely the place to be . This is like our second home and Annelise and Dave are really the best . Grateful that this was the place I spent my birthday at we are definitely coming back for the forth third time in one year🤣😊

I loved the spaciousness of the rooms, the quaint décor and location. The room had everything we required for a quiet Easter weekend. We were so close to everything, we could walk to the beach. There were so many eateries so close. In all my years of staying at the strand, I was most impressed by the owners Annalese and Dave. They were so friendly and helpful. I had a most beautiful and tranquil weekend. I could read and type to my heart's content. I loved the unique Decor. I will certainly return for my future breaks. The place had everything that one would require.
