12/10. Takiej oceny nigdy nie daliśmy , a podróżujemy naprawdę dużo. To miejsce przekroczyło nasze oczekiwania, a personel w osobach Hassan, Emmanuel, Jamal i Musa są nie do zastąpienia.. Dziękujemy bardzo

Nos alojamos mi marido y yo ocho noches. Desde el primer momento que llegamos ya apreciamos la maravilla del lugar. Todo el mundo, desde el masai que te recibe hasta Hassan, el encargado del resort, pasando por los camareros, equipo de limpieza, masajista, mantenimiento, cocineros, hacen que tu estancia sea perfecta. Tan perfecta que al segundo dia ya estaba reservando para el año que viene. La cocina es excelente, comida variada desde la mañana a la noche, cockteles buenisimos, la piscina comun, todo en Jua es perfecto. Solo 4 villas, mucha tranquilidad y paz, que era lo que estabamos buscando. Las palabras quedan cortas, hay que vivir la experiencia. Nos vemos el año que viene!!

Περάσαμε 5 υπέροχες μέρες σε ενα μοναδικό πρωτόγνωρο περιβάλλον !!!! Μαζί με αξέχαστους , φιλόξενους ανθρώπους, σε ένα μέρος που δεν έχει καμιά απολυτως σχέση με ότι άλλου είδους κατάλυμμα, νιώσαμε την απόλυτη φιλοξενία. Ο ήχος των πουλιών , του αέρα, της νυχτερινής καταιγίδας, της θάλασσας και ότι άλλο έχει να κάνει με τη φύση θα μείνει αξέχαστος. Τα φαγητά στο εστιατόριο πάντα φρέσκα . Η μικρή πισίνα εξω από το δωμάτιο σε υποδέχεται οποια ωρα και στιγμή αποφασίσεις να την επισκεφτείς. Τα μικρά ζωάκια (σκιουράκια, καβουράκια, σαυρες κλπ ) δε σε ενοχλούν ποτέ. Γενικά είναι μια εμπειρία που καποια στιγμή πρέπει να τη ζήσεις. Βέβαια, αν ψάχνεις την πεντάστερη πολυτέλεια των μεγάλων ξενοδοχείων καλύτερα μη μπείς στον κόπο να βρεθείς εδώ. Εδω ολα ξεκινούν και τελειώνουν με μια φραση "HAKUNA MATATA" !!!! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ !!! Καλή αντάμωση.

Fantastisk beliggenhed, super god service, lækker mad og dejligt, at man ikke hang i en klokkesnor, men kunne spise på de tidspunkter, som passede os bedst!

Beautiful space, peaceful, lovely staff

Loved it all

We stayed in Zanzibar for around two weeks and visited four different hotels, and this one was by far our absolute favorite. It felt like a beautiful oasis, full of peace and tranquility. Had we known beforehand how amazing it was, we would have stayed here for our entire trip. The service was excellent and of very high quality - extremely personal yet always professional. The food was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend going for the all-inclusive option. We especially loved the many small, thoughtful gestures: our favourite drink placed in front of our door early in the morning, our bed being made ready to sleep every night, complimentary laundry service - everything was done with great care, love, and attention to detail. Dining under the stars at night was truly magical. The hotel also offers great activities, we highly recommend the sunset dhow cruise. Free tennis was another nice bonus.

The hotel is very quiet, which we personally loved and really needed. However, if you’re looking for more entertainment or nightlife, this might not be the ideal place. That said, livelier areas like Paje are close by and easily reachable by taxi if you’re craving a bit more action. The cocktails were also a little too strong for our taste.

We stayed for 11 nights at the wonderful Jua Retreat, choosing it for its excellent reviews, private setting, adults-only environment, and personalised service. The retreat not only lived up to its description it exceeded our high expectations. The Jua team, led by Hassan, made our stay truly special, thoughtfully arranging two birthdays, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. The care, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely relaxed and exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with a varied menu that changed daily, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The grounds and large swimming pool (20 × 12 m) were kept immaculately clean and were a real highlight. The rooms do not have air conditioning, but the ceiling fans and netted windows worked well for us and kept insects at bay. There is no sandy beach directly in front of the retreat, but the pool more than compensates. We also walked to The Rock Restaurant, a pleasant walk when the tide is low, though it’s worth taking a hat, sunscreen, and water and being mindful of the significant tidal changes. Overall, this was a superb place to completely switch off, escape the pace of everyday life, and enjoy outstanding hospitality. We would happily return and highly recommend Jua Retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful, high-quality Zanzibar retreat.
