Excellent staff and service and nothing was too much trouble.

The bed was a bit hard.

We booked a two-person room for two nights to enjoy a relaxing trip with my sister-in-law, who was seven months pregnant. Initially, I sent a message through the booking platform to request two single beds. When I received no response, I sent a reminder, which also went unanswered. I had to call the hotel and was told I would receive a callback in 10 minutes. After an hour or so without a response, I called again a couple of times and was eventually informed that it wasn't possible to have two single beds unless we upgraded to a larger room. A week before our trip, due to concerns about my sister-in-law's pregnancy, we decided to bring our husbands and my daughter. I checked the booking platform but found no availability at the hotel, so we booked another room in addition at a nearby hotel. I then called to request a baby cradle for our room. Again, I was promised a callback in 10 minutes, which never came. When I called back, I was told the room was too small for a cradle, and we would need to book a four-person room instead. Despite my doubts, (i have attached a pic to judge for yourselves) I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil our trip. Upon arrival, we saw our room was on the second floor with no elevator. Our husbands helped carry the luggage upstairs, and afterward, we checked in at the other hotel and decided to have dinner at our hotel's restaurant. During dinner, my daughter needed to use the bathroom, so my husband, who was staying at the other hotel, took her to our room. However, the owner's daughter stopped them at the reception, claiming it wasn't allowed since he wasn't a guest at the hotel. Despite my husband's explanation, she rudely insisted in front of our confused three-year-old that this is not allowed. She even mentioned that during the check-in, where they helped us carry our suitcases to the second floor it wasn’t allowed but I didn’t hear anyone offering to help us from the hotel either.

Helen Hotel is a beautiful hotel right near the beach. Our room was big and newly renovated. The food was super delicious. The hotel is run by a lovely family. We would like to specially thank Eleni who helped us at all times and made our stay memorable.

Completely charming hotel next to the sea run by the most welcoming and cheerful sisters. The hotel has an incredibly warm and cheerful atmosphere. Our small apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Poros is unspoilt and tranquil and we loved exploring the island. You can eat on the terrace next to the sea, shaded by eucalyptus trees, and the food is the best we had in Greece. All the staff were charming and service at meals perfect.

Very clean and modern. Lovely pool area

Apartment was spacious, bed was comfortable. Plenty of cupboard space. Good air conditioning. Decent sized balcony. Pool area was superb. Loungers really comfortable. Plenty of quality shade if you wanted it. Bar area great too.

Shower was only hand held, but it was still very powerful.

The hotel location was great, only a short drive from the port, the staff was friendly and the room was clean and apacious. I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful pool and comfy sunbeds

Handheld shower rather than being fixed to the wall. We stayed in a standard room. Main bedroom was lovely but other rooms although very clean were a little dated. Worth upgrading to a superior room
