Casa Sardão

The best stay I ever had, the house is amazing in design, very clean and great atmosphere. It is located in an piece of Portugal that put in a very country side feeling but in the same time is within 20 mins of any major parts of Porto. The host Mr. Jaime is a very friendly and easy to talk person, always caring for us. I was thinking that would be my last trip to Portugal but because of my stay here, I definitely will come back again and I will stay at Casa Sardāo. Thanks Mr. Jaime.

We liked everything.

This was the perfect holiday for a family. The children loved getting to know all the animals and Jaime the host was so kind and helpful. The pool was a short walk over the road in beautiful grounds. Peaceful with a short drive to Porto and Braga. We will definitely go back.

Nothing! It was fab.

We have been to many places in the world, but this was truly magical. From start to finish, we were loving everything. Jamie the owner and his animals are so kind and welcoming and we felt like part of his family and farm. We were treated with Portuguese specialties, any advice we needed Jamie was there to help. We felt like we became friends with Jamie and his lovely animals and we will miss them very much. This is a very relaxing holiday and the pool and landscapes are terrific. The house is clean, with plenty of space and has modern facilities with the perfect Portuguese charm. We very much appreciated getting to know Jamie and his dog Branco and enjoyed spending time with Jamie as he is the perfect host and a lovely person. The views are beautiful and everyone we met were so friendly. Children adored Branco and he is a very friendly dog and loves everyone! We also enjoyed watching the bird life and the horse and it felt like a home away from home. We can’t thank you Jamie enough for his kind hospitality at his wonderful place that we will cherish for ever. Hopefully one day we will be back. Thank you again for everything this was an unforgettable week. We will miss you all and this amazing place. Best wishes from the Norcott family.

Jamie was an excellent host. Friendly and responsive

We can hardly put into words how magnificent this place is.. a well-equipped spacious farmhouse at a peaceful location, we couldn't have asked for more. Lovely fresh bedding, perfectly equipped kitchen and a cosy, tastefully decorated living area. The outdoor area offers a wonderful play area for the children in an environment with fruit trees to play the best hide and seek, and get acquainted with different animals. There is even a peacock couple in the yard. Jaime did everything to make our stay as perfect as possible and surprised us daily with delicious local delicacies. We had such an amazing time. This was by far the best experience we ever had in Porto. Thanks for your excellent hospitality Jaime.
