Thamel Heritage Hostel

Rooms were clean, decorated well. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. There is staff there 24/7 and security. They lock the gates at night so you felt very safe.

The food is out in the open in the rooftop. They are packaged well, but you can imagine rodent and insects being a factor. This is why we didn’t eat any food there. If the staff can change that then that would be better for hygiene.

The reception staff were incredibly kind, helpful, welcoming, and always happy to talk. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Even though the hostel is located right in Thamel, it’s surprisingly quiet. Everything is within a 10-minute walk, so the location is perfect, yet peaceful enough to have an amazing sleep. I honestly had some of the best sleep of my trip there. The hostel is also very clean — the bathrooms are cleaned every day, the beds are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is warm and friendly. I truly loved staying there and would absolutely come back again.”

Paikka oli tyylikäs ja siisti. Käytännölliset ja hyvät sängyt. Jokaisella oma valo ja latauspistoke sängyn vierellä, samoin kuin lukittava kaappi. Todella ystävällinen ja sosiaalinen henkilökunta. Rahul ystävällisesti auttoi minua kysymyksissäni.
