"Essential part of my 5-day Sa Pa experience."

7.0

Authentic. Immersion in tribal rural life was what I wanted.

Getting there was a challenge. I was at first confused about directions. Only eventually I managed to find it, hiking down from Sa Pa.

"Lovely family homestay"

10.0

The location was stunning. The property itself was very clean and was run by the loveliest of families . Everyone there is happy to see you and wants you to have a good time. Bedding is quite basic with mosquito net provided . There is good hot water and pressure for shower and normal Toilets

Nothing really - it’s quite a basic stay but it’s lovely for its location

"Superb"

We had a wonderful stay at this Homestay. The family is super nice and you feel part of it. The house is a nice wooden house and you really feel being in the middle of nature when you lie in your comfortable bed and to the sounds of the river and the animals from outside. Chinh (the host) organized a tour guide for us who gave us a private tour through the rice fields for a very good price. The food they cook is fresh and delicious and you will get not only one shot of rice wine when having dinner with the family.

I would give a 10 rating, but I really didn’t like the fact that there was no info about how to get to the house before booking. The location is quite remote in a valley and the way to get there is complicated. Cars can’t go down the mountain road leading to the homestay, so you have to know how to drive a motorbike (the mountain road is steep and can be very slippery) or you have someone who drives you on a motorbike which is a problem when you have heavy luggage. Another option (what we did) is to take a taxi to a certain point from where you can walk down to the valley which takes 20-30 minutes and is challenging with luggage. In the end it was fine for us and we liked the idyllic location of the homestay, we just would have liked to know that no taxi can take you there and that it is a problem if you have heavy bags.

Very Authentic Experience and comfortable with the family as our host ! Together with other costumers we shared dinner together and the food was amazing! You get to feel the life style between the rice fields. You can also just walk around the area and discover a lot of the culture with the people living all over the hills . The family will help you organize with all you needs too.

"Homestay surrounded by amazing rice fields"

9.0

Great location surrounded by beautiful rice terraces. The family is really friendly and invited us for a family dinner with great food. The rooms are basic like you would expect in a homestay, but the beds were more comfortable than expected. It's a great area to drive around on a motorbike or to walk around.

The road from the main road to the homestay is very challenging. It's best to hire a motorbike (if you feel comfortable driving) or to walk. However, the family from the homestay helped us to get our luggage up the road on the way back which was really nice.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The location is incredible and the service is even better. The family is so incredible kind and accommodating with anything you might need. Rooms are super clean and are great value for their location. Definitely recommend having a bike or getting a lift to the home stay as it’s down a small hill into the valley. But it is a great base camp for your trekking stay in sapa. Really recommend and will be back!!

"FANTASTIC!!!!"

10.0

This homestay has been our home and family for 5days! Cha, Chinh and their little boy are AMAZING HUMANS, they hosted us and treated us like Family always💛 we had delicious dinner all together, Cha is the sweetest woman, she cooks incredibly and she always helps if you need something. We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4:) We didn’t want to leave! The homestay is located in the valley and it seems to be in a fairytale, surrounded by rice fields and beautiful views of the mountains. Chinh took us to do some trekking around the valley and took us to meet his family:) we loved our time here and we hope to come back very soon! If you come to Sapa this is the place to stay! Thank you so much 😊

That we had to leave. We hope to come Back soon!

"Beautiful family, beautiful location, very rural and close to the tracking, the Homestay organized a lovely guide for us"

8.0

in a remote, beautiful, setting in the mountains. Authentic people and environment.

for us it was a bit too far out of the main Sapa town because we were also looking for culture and restaurants in the town and it was a 15-18 minute motorcycle ride. the homestay family is amazing and organized motorbikes for us though.
