World Villa

Beautiful, comfortable house, fully equipped with everything you need. Two bedrooms and one room attached to the drawing room that can be used as a third bedroom (no windows in the last one, but it's not a problem). Quite a big pool and a charming garden. The house is in a perfect location - peace and quiet, short walk to the beach and tavernas. If you want to explore the island with a car, like we did, then the proximity to the main road is really convenient.

You need to be careful about the hot water usage. It happened to us that we ran out of hot water, but until the next evening it was hot again.

The views were outstanding. Perfect evenings watching the sunset from the upstairs terrace. We had absolutely everything we needed for an amazing relaxing week. Short walk to grocery store/bakery etc to stock up, but also a few lovely little taverna's nearby too. A great base to explore Crete, at the same time, away from it all and peaceful to relax.

Nothing, it was all perfect.

The Villa was a perfect choice for a family with teenagers. Villa was very clean and it had well equipped kitchen and spacious areas to everyone chill. Location was really nice and easy access; walking distance from nearest taverna / market and with rental car we had plenty of options to explore. Spacious outdoor area with beatiful garden and pool plus some games and snooker table offered enough activities for the kids during the week. You can hear and see the sea from the balcony but otherwise the area was really peacefull. Host was superb; easy communication, flexible with our check-in and we were offered multiple tips during our stay.

As a filtered coffee drinker we would have appriciated simple french press or coffee strainer but we managed with filters and normal kitchen strainer plus the nescafe coffee machine.

We had a week stay in World Villa in May and it was amazing: the host is very kind and caring, communication was fast and efficient. Villa itself is totally new, all appliances and Wi-fi worked efficiently, towels provided, garden with tables, chairs and sofas is beautiful. Grill outside. Parking for 2-3 cars outside the villa. Pool is 10m long (by guessing) and was cleaned every second day. Inside AC worked well (we had to heat as nights were a bit chilly). Beds were comfy, however in one of the bedrooms it's only a sofa-type smaller double bed and in another bedroom the double bed is also a bit small. Showers and WC's were super clean, kitchen was equiped with plates, cooking devices, glasses for tea/coffee/wine, spices, paper towels. There is Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Host left us a welcome gift too! Villa is located 25min drive from Chania and only an hour drive from Balos beach and 1h15min drive from Elafonisi beach, which allows you to arrive their early to avoid the crowds. All in all the villa is in a very quite environment, with visible sea (small pebble stone shore) and few tavernas in the village (5min walking). Loved it trully! ❤️

The only thing that could be better in this otherwise wonderful accommodation were beds: one bedroom had a big, very comfy double bed with great mattress, another bedroom had a smaller double bed and the third bedroom had sofa-type smaller double bed with a mattress cover.

Location was great. Beautiful venue, very welcoming for family. Free food and a bottle at as a lovely touch.
