Beautiful view and very kind and accommodating host.

The air conditioning was only in the bathroom. It was wonderful otherwise, but after really hot days it would have been nice to be able to experience sufficient AC while sleeping. Also the WiFi only worked in the bathroom. It did not reach through the walls into the bedroom. There were also some ants in the room, but overall this was insignificant because of how beautiful the view is and how kind and accommodating the host was.

The place is exceptional with a fantastic view of the Bay of Gaeta. It's in the center; however, the garden, swimming pool, cleanliness, and tranquility make it feel like a little cocoon. Rita was really helpful with restaurant recommendations, ordered a taxi for us, and brought us a delicious breakfast every morning to our room, which we could enjoy with a great view from our balcony.

Absolutely amazing setting, I could spend the whole day in the garden reading a book, the view is just so relaxing. Feels very intimate and the attention from the host is very nice.

The garden and the view was absolutely amazing.In my opinion, Clori Gaeta is placed in a really quiet corner of the city, but still close to restaurants, public transportation, shops. Firstly, we had trouble finding the entrance, but after a quick call the host came to guide us to the entrance which was at a big gate in the corner of the street. The cave room, even if it did not have an air conditioning system(it has one in the bathroom) had a comfortable temperature in the middle of June. The breakfast was tasty and fresh every day. The host was friendly, speaks good English.

Sadly, we were told that the pool shown on the pictures was only for private use, even if there is a sign next to the pool saying "Please shower with soap before entering the pool" which was a little bit confusing after all.

Unfortunately I got sick shortly after arrival. However, both Rita and her mother Francesca took care of me as I was traveling alone. That was a huge help for me. The days after I got better I didn't have enough energy to visit the town much, but it was a delight to relax in the beautiful garden with stunning views. Location is very nice in the old city center near nice restaurants. As I arrived by train, which is far from the apartment, Rita arranged a taxi to pick me up and bring me back to the station.

Absolutely nothing to complain about

This location is stunning, and the terraced garden beautifully designed and attended. Each Room had its own private space in the garden overlooking the wide expanse of the beautiful bay below. A rare find, it has the South of France vibe and style. Quite yet a short walk to bars and restaurants. Gaeta is an attractive town many Italian visitors and few foreign tourists at this time of year. Beaches are a 10 minute drive away. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Rita is very charming and it was a delight to meet her.
