I was positively surprised by Giuliano's (the host) availability and willingness to help me with everything I needed at any time! It made my trip easier and more comfortable. The apartment is being renovating and is very clean! The location is excellent, very close to the city center, about 3-5 min walk. The street is very known and beautiful, one of the oldest historical streets, if I'm not mistaken. At night it might be a bit loud, because Catania has vivid night life! For me, this was also exciting, but you might want earplugs if that is bothering you.

Niestety pobyt przypadł nam na sobotę, w lokalu poniżej było bardzo głośno. Polecam mieć zatyczki do uszu ze sobą!

Great location in city centre with everything walking distance outside. Nice little balcony to observe the street below. Rooms were fastidiously clean. Giuliano was very responsive and always happy to help.

Excellent central location, walking distance to most sights. Restaurants, wine bars also literally at the doorstep, Alibus busstop to and from the airport 1 and 5 minutes away. The bed had a brand new comfy matrace. The building itself is an old, historic building in Catania. The owners went out if their way to fix initial issues, like the wifi. They were extra pleasant, communication was fluent on Whatsup. The room was a good size and beautiful. The shared bathroom was equipped with toiletries, hairdryer, and the water pressure was ok. The shared kitchen offered free coffee, and good quality one.

I had a positive experience, however, because it is so central and the winebars are literally under its windows, I advise earplugs for night. But the best bet is to go down and join the crowd for a real Catanian experience.
