DKProbably the worst hostel experience i have ever had in my life. Firstly, upon arrival, we were downgraded from a four person room with a balcony to a three people room without compensation or explanation. The staff did not speak English and we were forced to go with this. Secondly, we were not provided with a key for our room. When we asked about this, the receptionist got very hostile and cursed at us for not understanding Russian. To add insult to injury, all of the facilities were completely dirty and unusable - the toilet and shower was moldy and only had cold water. The kitchen lacked basic amenities such as: plates, knives, forks, spoons, cups or anything you would need in a kitchen. The very few plates and cutlery which was available was so dirty that we refused to use it. The staff and especially the receptionist was incredibly rude and was probably the worst part about the experience. When the receptionist wasn't just lying in his bed and looking at his phone 24/7 he made sure that the stay was as awful as he could manage. He was constantly mad and correcting us about everything, and in the end he accused us of stealing towels from the hostel (even though we were never provided with any). The wifi was not working for multiple hours at a time and there was frequent power loss I would NOT recommend for any Travellers to spend money here and instead find somewhere else to spend the night. It's a disgrace that booking.com has this listed as an available option.

ESI stayed at this hostel and overall, it was a good experience. The area was great, with easy access to nearby attractions. Cleanliness was pretty good too, which made for a nice stay.
The only downside was that there were no power outlets to charge my phone in the room or near the bed . The only way to charge it is to either go to the common sitting place or handover to the staff. It didn’t ruin my stay, but it would be nice if that got fixed. Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable and convenient place to crash!
