Hotel Skylights Bangalore Airport

De kamer was ondanks nabij het vliegveld rustig voor een goede nachtrust. Het interieur is eenvoudig maar wel netjes en compleet genoeg voor een verblijf van 1 of meer nachten.

Het ontbijt was karig. Na een late aankomst rond 03:00 uur en korte nachtrust tot 08:00 uur kwamen we wat later ontbijten en konden we volstaan met de left-overs. Dat had beter kunnen zijn. Het hotel had n.a.v. ons verzoek een shuttle service aangeboden. Ik had gevraagd naar een pick-up locatie maar kreeg geen antwoord. Op Bangalore Iternational Airport werd je voor taxi pick-up verwezen naar P2 parking en aldaar een taxi bestel en veel te veel betaald. De hotelmanager kan beter aangeven bij aankomst het hotel te bellen voor een shuttel service. Het is beter om dat bij de boeking te vermelden.

Questo è un hotel che uso frequentemente data la vicinanza con l'aereoporto. Mi sono sempre trovata bene. Questa volta pur avendo prenotato , mi è stata data una stanza praticamente sopra il generatore di elettricità che , dato il rumore assordante, nonostante i tappi nelle orecchie, mi ha impedito di dormire . Alle 3 di notte mi son decisa a chiamare al telefono il personale della reception che è venuto a controllare il rumore in camera e mi ha proposto di cambiare camera. Ma alle 03 del mattino rifare la valigia e spostarmi quando mi sarei alzata poco dopo, non lo ho trovato opportuno. Mi chiedo perchè dato che c'era una stanza libera, mi è stata data quella super rumorosa ? Non si fa con nessuno e men che meno con un cliente !

This hotel is good value for an airport stop over. Room good size with a basic bathroom and was good value for money.

This hotel is not on the airport complex as shown on booking.com ( there is only the Taj in the airport grounds). It is 5km taxi ride on a busy road. Which would be ok if we had understood this when booking. Also no restaurant in the hotel. Food is ordered from elsewhere.(We did order food which was ok and very cheap )

Nice clean hotel close to the airport, absolutely fine for a stay in between your flights. They also arrange for airport transfer if you ask. Simple breakfast available.

Everything ok.

Liked the bed and lighting. We were able to order a meal delivered to our room through reception service. The staff ordered us an early morning taxi to the airport with no fuss. A lift to our room from the ground floor. Hot water and a good shower head.

There was no bath mat and because it was a wet room, one of us had to dry some surfaces in the bathroom before we could use it! Coffee / tea cups were quite small but not a major issue.

Proximity to the airport was 15 minutes. No frills but very efficient. I arrived at midnight and the reception was ready to receive me. Room was fine , clean, aircon and fan. Hot water to shower. Whilst breakfast only begins at 7.30, I was able to get my coffee and breakfast. Very good value for money good breakfast. They arranged a vehicle to the airport.

Nothing to complain about.

Area is fine, quiet and close to the airport. The place is also clean, and it really fits the purpose when just passing by or doing transit at the airport.

The staff! So basically, I couldn't sleep at all because the three people spending the night in the reception were watching movies on the phone on the loudest volume possible. There is no soundproofing whatsoever between the reception and, particularly, the rooms on the first floor. No training whatsoever in customer care, hospitality, etc.....
