"A special Retreat."

We stayed in the penthouse apartment for 2wks in April this year. I can't fault the apartment, clean spacious, lush, everything you needed, in fact the nicest apartment I have stayed in the The Gambia so far. Good location and not far from local amenities and senegambia. All 4 of us enjoyed our stay. The security and camera system was great I felt very safe. Penthouse suite truly wonderful I would definately stay again.

A few issues, we had a problem with the Gas supply, it left black residue on cookware, and sponges etc. The WiFi... Definately needs improvement I was connected to my husband's router otherwise it was almost non existent. The cashpower! Seemed expensive and difficult to understand and to top up if you are a non local, so it would be better if it was included in the cost of the apartment. The cleaning although outstanding when done needs to be a more regular and an adequate towel supply provided for the amount of guests. If these issues are resolved, then I believe The retreat could be one of the best places to stay in the Gambia. "Wonderful place with good security"

Friendly staff, any issue get sorted 👌 having hot shower with good water pressure. Clean and tidy place. Security is great , generally, nice place to stay, will definitely be going back there.

Nothing to complain about WiFi is not strong during the day, but late night or early hours are the best. If you on a working trip, those hours are the best time , you can use WiFi without interruption and it's fast.
