Wooden Cabana Sigiriya

A perfect wooden cottage stay with family. The property with cozy cottages, the view of lake, mountains and specially wildlife right at the doorsteps. It is full of birds and specially Peacocks flying around you. Came across deer, mountain lizards, mongoose crawling on back side and watching Giant squirrels everyday, what else can one expect. Food even though limited menu was enjoyable and reasonable. The property is well maintained and value for money. Not to forget the view of Sigiriya Rock from the property on the back side which is perfect viewpoint for sunset and a big lake in front of the rooms. Will definitely recommend this property .

Insects and flies come inside from open bathroom top which just has a grill. would recommend a fine mesh to keep insects away.

The hosts were nice and helped us

The cabana has no mosquito net so alot of insects came in the shower, even a frog The shower pipe broke mid shower and sprayed all over and they needed to fix it while i waited with towel For their credit they moved us rooms the next day but the water pressure was very low in both rooms Also way overpriced, “tourist fee”

We lovely the cabana, views and location! Expect wildlife.

We stayed here for one night during our travels of Sri Lanka. There is a restaurant on site which is great and the view from the cabin was picturesque!My only negative would be that from the pictures it seems the cabins are quite secluded and private. However you are in very close proximity to other guests which I hadn’t anticipated. Overall a lovely stay :)

Staff are rude very poor customer service.

They charged extra for a short delay even taj does not charge
