Foresteria Castello di Verrazzano

All are good for a short and comfortable stay and visit at the winery. Lots of common area with good views. Breakfast is good.

No reception on Sunday. It might be a bit confusing to find the place.

Beautiful location, perfect for visiting the Castello di Verrazano vineyard. For an off grid few days in Italy it would be hard to beat.

Greti is a small village, you need to travel out for restaurants. However the host is willing to help with this.

Er werd gezorgd voor een ontbijt waarbij zowel zoet als zout mogelijk was. Naar mijn idee was het hoge kwaliteit, lagere kwantiteit. Het uitzicht vanaf de patio was prachtig. Het bed lag heerlijk en de badkamer was schoon.

De kamer was erg warm. Naar mijn gevoel was er vloerverwarming dat aanstond, wat in de zomer overbodig is. Ook zoemde de koelkast nogal in de avond, dus daarvan had ik de stekker eruit gehaald. Daarnaast stoorde ik mij 's nachts aan het groene lampje van de "uitgang" van de kamer.

Beautiful property in lovely location. Room was on the small side but tastefully furnished with everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Handy for Greve which is a lovely village and the rest of the Chianti area. Would visit again.

A shelf in the showe for toiletries would have been handy instead of having to put shampoo etc on the floor. We did have a bit of a problem finding the place as the check in by the main road was closed the day we arrived. I was sent a message to explain how to get in but more precise instructions how to identify the property would have been helpful.

What an incredible location. Accommodation is a bit basic but the views and wine tour & tasting made up for that. Stunning estate.

The property had advertised having a bbq but it was very inadequate. We wanted to cook the evening we stayed but there was no wood or charcoal, although they did supply us with a bag of charcoal when we asked about it. There were no cooking utensils and no plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc…. The actual brick bbq was fine but the wire cooking rack was very old, rusty & broken in places. We had a lovely stay but that slightly marred our experience. I don’t think it should be advertised as having a bbq available unless they set themselves up properly for people to cook on it.
