I had a perfect trip in Toraja, and it mostly owes to the perfect hosts. They prepared everything with care, showed me the good restaurants, helped me planning the trip, and even took me to a funeral, where I met their bigger family who are all great people. The bed was comfy, and sleeping under the roof hearing the rain was soothing (I have phobia of rain but this time I was calm). The little place is well decorated, fits the vibe of the hosts couple. The moment I met them I knew I got to get a good trip, that’s how they made me feel. I arrived early and left late, but they always welcomed me and had me a place to rest.

Cute, little place for a stay in Toraja! Perfect location, next to the center and cultural sides but still peacefully and quiet. View from the bed on the ricefield in front of the Appartement, very cozy. Communication with the hosts was easy and fast, they were super helpful from recommending places, to help organizing transportations! Thank you so much! 🙏🏼 Note: this is an open and shared 1 room Apartment, so you’ll live and share the facilities with the family! We didn’t know, so they were so kind with us and left the place for us🙏🏼

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay last week. The warmth and hospitality of the host truly made a difference – they were welcoming even though I arrived a bit late, and their communication throughout my stay was great The homestay is located in a lovely area surrounded by paddy fields, offering a peaceful and refreshing view. One of the highlights was the soothing piano music from the class next to the homestay, which added a unique and calming atmosphere. Overall, this is a really nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a cozy, well-hosted stay.

The homestay has a unique concept where guests share common spaces with the host family. While this creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, it might not suit everyone—especially those who prefer more privacy, more introverted experience.

Totally reccomended if you stay in Rantepao, the hosts are simply amazing! They are very kind and helpful and have a lot of insights regarding the region. Once you are there you become part of the family and you will not want to leave :) The breakfast is delicious and the house itself is very charming. It is located near a rice field, close to the city center (walking distance) but quiet. So far the best homestay I have been. Thank you very much for everything and see you soon in Europe :)

A beautiful homestay with amazing hosts! The breakfast was great every morning and the hosts were always willing to help, no matter your requests. I had an amazing time staying there and I definitely recommend it!

Great stay in rantepoa! would highly recommend this homestay if you are visiting Toraja. The host family are lovely and provide delicious meals and made us feel so comfortable. They arranged transport options for us and great tours. Wish we could stay longer!
