Arcangelo Case Vacanza

I loved staying at Arcangelo case! My apartment was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and well-appointed. Plus it had a terrific terrace with beautiful lake views that I would enjoy later in the afternoon for a glass of wine. Additionally Matteo is a wonderful, attentive and engaging host. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed staying here and how welcoming Matteo is. I hope to return one day!

Matteo and Michele's home is nothing short of fantastic. They have done an amazing job renovating an ancient building to the highest standard. The interior design is gorgeous, as is the view of lake Iseo from their balcony. The location is as convenient as it gets, right off a main road making getting in and out by car easy and fast, allowing you to explore other towns on the lake as well as nearby cities like Brescia within a short, hassle-free drive, while also being on the road that leads directly down to Sulzano and the Montisolo ferry. A public parking lot steps away from the apartment had space at all times of day, even for a larger car. We stayed in the 1st floor apartment, which is accessible with just a few steps and has its own private entrance. Inside, every detail was thoughtfully considered: excellent lighting, electronically controlled air conditioning in each room, well equipped kitchen with brand new appliances and hand-picked kitchenware, a quality mattress and selection of pillows and blankets ensure good quality sleep. Matteo greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house, and has been a helpful, cheerful, responsive, and friendly host during our stay. To top it all off, the nearby farm has a pair of cute and friendly cats that greeted us every day, which we really appreciated as cat lovers missing our kitties back home. I highly recommend their place, and have no doubt we will return to stay here again. Grazie mille, Matteo!

My only feedback for Matteo is that I'd like to have a larger cutting board in the kitchen, and that's really nitpicking just to have something to say. It's rare that I find nothing to dislike, but our hosts have poured their love and care into these apartments and it leaves nothing to be desired. If you have the opportunity, book a stay here, you will not be disappointed.
