Makawi Tuwa Cliff - Luxury Cliff Stay with Private Beach, Infinity Pools and Ocean View

Makawi Tuwa Deluxe Villa is an absolute hidden gem. On the way there, we never imagined such a stunning paradise could be waiting for us. We were looking for peace, privacy, and an escape from stress — and that is exactly what we found. The villa itself is beautiful, with a spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge that flows directly onto the infinity pool. The view from both the living area and the bedroom is simply breathtaking — endless sea as far as the eye can see. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves was incredibly calming, and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We made a point to wake up early for sunrise, and even with a few clouds, it was pure magic. There's also a private beach nearby. Although it wasn’t suitable for swimming during our visit, just sitting there and watching the waves was more than enough — incredibly peaceful. Each day, we were treated to delicious homemade meals delivered right to the villa. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially Made, who went out of his way to share stories about Balinese culture and traditions. Thank you, Made, for all! We’re already planning to return — and next time, we’ll be staying longer. This place truly is something special.

Exceptional view of the ocean with an infinity pool and a jacuzzi. If you want to relax and recharge your batteries this is the perfect place in Bali. The staff is more than kind and helpful, we also had a wonderful floating breakfast. The private beach with the black sand is also amazing. We loved Makawi Tuwa and will definitely come back!

The staff were great, Made and Katut were really attentive and helpful with any queries. The pictures do not do the main villa justice, it’s a stunning view.

One aspect you have to accept is that you will encounter geckos and they can sometimes leave droppings or make noise in the night. But they are harmless and the staff dealt with any cleaning that was required immediately.

The location is absolutely incredible. It is on a cliff edge, right on the ocean. The view from the infinity pool into the ocean is spectacular. The Jacuzzi is also really nice, especially for kids. The sunrise is superb to watch. The villa itself is very comfortable. 3 separate rooms, with comfortable beds & clean bathrooms. There is a big common area, dining table & kitchen which is great for hanging out. The wifi works pretty well in the common areas. The private beach is also fantastic - black sand & the waves are not too big, so you can go in the water - it is a bit of a climb though. The breakfast is nice. This may be the nicest villa I've ever stayed at.

Would have been nice to have a microwave, but not a big deal. The wifi doesn't really work in the bedrooms - the signal is too weak, but again, not a big deal.

Resourceful stay in a wonderful place with its own pool and beach. Breakfast was amazing, served to the room, and the staff was always very happy to help with our requests. We would definitely come again !

The secluded location with the amazing views were so great! The staff was so very helpful in everything that we wanted or needed.

The WiFi in the room wasn’t the greatest, but since we spent most of the time outside it wasn’t that huge of a deal.
