En tour du monde depuis 6 mois, c'est un des meilleurs logements qu'il nous ait été donné d'avoir. La chambre/salon est magnifique et est authentique. Le lit est immense et le coin salon est appréciable. La salle de bain est spacieuse et l'eau est chaude. Le wifi est performant. Nous avons même pu utiliser la machine à laver. Le petit déjeuner indien est très bon et différent chaque jour. Si cet hôtel est disponible lorsque vous en cherchez un, n'hésitez pas, vous regretterez de ne pas l'avoir pris. Seul bémol, le bruit dans la rue, mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles cela se fait sans soucis.

We absolutely loved it here, but it’s not for everyone. This old haveli is being developed, and this is the only finished room. It’s large and comfortable, with the best shower room we’ve had in India so far (halfway through six week trip). The host, Randhir, was superb - polite, friendly, intelligent and so helpful, and his vision for the haveli … well, we look forward to seeing it when it’s complete. It’s in a very central location, easy walking distance to Lake Pichola and many shops and restaurants, so obviously there is street noise, but that didn’t bother us. When the gates are closed, access to the property is through a little half gate in the main gate - could be an issue for some people. Tasty vegetarian breakfasts too.

A wardrobe would have been welcome, as would bedside lamps and a full length mirror. Kettle and mugs provided, but no tea or coffee. Drinking water provided, but no drinking glasses.

Beautiful property with lots of character and history: also very comfortable and clean. Great location. Lovely family who look after you well. I was sick and they were very helpful getting things for me that I needed. Overall, a lovely place to stay. The breakfast is also amazing!

Nothing - perfect

Great location, 200m away from city palace. It is a heritage property constructed by the host's great grandfather. It is made of limestone and has the charm of days past. Appropriately renovated with a nice, big and neat bathroom and other comforts such as a big screen TV with Netflix etc, fast wifi. Huge room with sofas and a huge mattress that can sleep four. The room has more character than the photos reveal. Was reasonably priced for what is on offer. The host, Mr. Randhir is super helpful and gracious. Due to the cold, we requested a room heater and slippers which were promptly arranged with a smile. The food is prepared by his mother, and was amazing. Easily the culinary highlight of our trip. Several local specialties were made, especially for breakfast.

Didn't bother us at all, but they are renovating the property, so there are things like an unpaved staircase. You can hear vehicular traffic in the evening evening and early morning, which may be an issue if you are a very light sleeper. Didn't bother us at all.

It was a kind of experience I will never forget.

We loved everything..the location..the view the room..the fact that it is 200 year Haweli and was added in guiness book ..the ambience and specially the owners ..Mr.Randheer and his family ..they are so warm and welcoming..it was my daughter's birthday,they arranged a grand party with cake and bornfire and joined us..and unlike hotels we had good privacy as well..the room has a good big LED and some cool ancient pieces of art and reading books..and photos of his great grandfather,the doors the jharoka with windows ..and hot water for drinking and any service we ask for...the washroom also was clean...We had a wonderful experience..felt like we were staying with close friends..the wonderful view from terrace of city palace is another attraction..the place is really easy to approach and it just took a walk for shopping cool items.We had a wonderful experience.thank you Mr.Randheer and family for such a royal treatment
