Charlene was very understanding and accommodating when our arrival was impacted by a flat tire. We were provided with convenient parking. The cook to order breakfast was very good and Charlene was very friendly and attentive! We appreciated the hair dryer and the face cloths provided. We also liked the hot water kettle and instant coffee provided in the room. We appreciated the little closet area to put suitcases since the space in the main room is very limited. The location was quiet and convenient. We were thankful we could open the windows as it got a little warm and stuffy. Thank you!

We had a little trouble finding the driveway to Sonas House. The house is back off the street a bit and the actual driveway/turn was not noted in our GPS directions so we ended up behind the house. We just got a "You have arrived" notification but the house is not visible from the street. A note in our arrival instruction to watch for the black gate after the turn would have been helpful. I didn't not feel very "welcomed" by the male checking us in but it very well could have been our fault due to our arrival which was later than we expected. A note on the switch (located OUTSIDE the bathroom) that controlled the shower (note to "KEEP SWITCH ON") -OR- instructions at the shower regarding how to operate it - would have been very helpful as we spent a LOT of time trying to figure out how to get the shower to work. We had accidentally turned the shower switch off when attempting to turn bathroom light on. A mirror near an outlet in the bedroom would be very helpful for using the hair dryer. There is very little floor space in the room, so all of the many pillow on the 3 beds were a bit much and could be reduced in number since there is no place to put them except on the floor which seems gross to me and is a less than an ideal place to put them. It would be very nice if the closet area had luggage racks (vs. the armoire/closet and little cabinet) since there is no room for luggage in the main room.
