Riad Chebbi

Beautiful riad with very generously proportioned room that was comfortable and offered a view across the road to the sand dunes. We really appreciated being able to stay on and relax in our room and the air-conditioning comfort until it was time to transfer later the next day for our overnight desert experience. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

Very kind staff. Right across the “street” from the Erg Chebbi dunes. Can walk to the dunes for sunrise/sunset etc. Nice prepared multi course dinner (15$) and traditional breakfast. They arranged a sunset camel tour for us (20$) and also drove us to a nearby restaurant for a local lunch. They stayed up until 2am to greet us at the hotel. Air conditioning in the room worked very well. Amazing spot on the roof to stargaze at night in the desert! Lots of shooting stars.

Gorgeous property literally right across the street from the dunes of the Sahara. We arrived in 110F heat and greatly loved the pool and A/C in the room. Under the circumstances, the A/c kept up well, but we were never cold. Booking a sunset camel ride, even on short notice, was the easiest thing in the world.

A/c in the public areas was not what us spoiled Americans are used to. Totally understandable, but it made for an uncomfortably warm dinner and breakfast.

If you are not staying in the tents this is the best place to be in Merzouga.

Everything was perfect with the Riad. Yedir was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We booked a Deluxe Room, but got a Suite! The Riad is very beautiful und luxurious. The dinner and the breakfast were really delicious and the stuff so friendly. The pool area is beautiful and we had a little swim in the evening. The Riad is directly next to the desert. Camp Chebbi is part of the riad and everything was organized very well. We were allowed to use our room until we were picked up at camp, which was very accommodating. So thank you so much for everything! We give an absolute recommendation!

Everything was super! Except one thing, if you’re paying by card, they put you to pay 5% fee on the top of your bill. So be ready! The rest is perfect!

This was our little paradise amongst the dunes for our one night stay before our camping experience. Yedir and the rest of the staff were so helpful with everything we needed. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. We enjoyed the pool for hours to cool off. A very special Riad. Our room was upgraded, super spacious, comfortable. What a wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed an extra night. Highly recommend whilst exploring the Sahara Desert.

We got free upgrade to the suite. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Really good outdoor space to swim and relax. The staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. They helped me with everything I requested. Served vegetarian food as well. It was huge portion and delicious. They don’t have a bar but let you bring your own alcohol.

Breakfast portion was small and no eggs just the bread.
