Excellent accommodation in the most enchanting location.

I live being able to get outside on my holidays (relish not having to go inside to the office- so for me access to the main house grounds and the path down to the sea.

A family party of 11 - no complaints. Very spacious accommodation. Loved the free standing bath where you could see the stars at night. The forest, gardens and beach were all with a few minutes' walking distance. Dumfries was nearby so extra food supplies were bought in the local Tesco which had also delivered a 'big shop' prior to our arrival.

Lots of bedrooms. Lovely big kitchen which was really well equipped. great location with easy access to the beach. Very friendly host. Spotlessly clean.

Smaller stable just didn’t really get warm and ran out of hot water v quickly. Fire wouldn’t draw and filled the room with smoke. Bedrooms were all quite chilly and duvets just too thick & hot. Layers would work better on the beds. Living space was really small for a group of 11 to sit together.
