Very clean & comfortable room with a big ensuite & walk in wardrobe. Free parking across the road. The house is conveniently located for visiting my family in Millom

The windows/French doors in the room are directly attached to the communal space that has the tea/coffee making area, so there is a potential lack of privacy when the curtains are opened. Unfortunately I was woken on the first morning by the sound of someone walking around upstairs & by doors opening downstairs

Excellent breakfast, huge comfortable bed, friendly host, great view from breakfast room.

Took a while to find the house - signage could be clearer.

It’s very clean and comfortable and ideal location for visiting my son.

The location is beautiful with a sea view. The property is spacious , with additional rooms to use, such as a lounge with tv and a conservatory to make tea and coffee. Both were very much appreciated. My en-suite room was spacious, clean and everything i needed. Lovely breakfast as well

I’m not criticising, only to say that although there is a tv in the lounge, i personally love to put a tv on in my room when getting ready/last thing at night. But it wasn’t a problem at all.

Heron House was homely perfect for our 2 night stay. Karen was very welcoming and Lyn was recoving from a resent hospital stay. Saying that nothing was to much trouble
