Ahuru Mōwai

Apartment was huge. I booked this place because it was difficult to secure accommodations within Lake Tekapo in the Summer. Apartment was well furnished with en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom. Huge kitchen and living room was a plus.

The sliding doors within the living room were locked by a key(?) I supposed to prevent tampering. This was not made known to us. No impact to overall comfort, but I thought it was important to let the users know of this incase we might think that they were faulty.

Many rooms and toilet, good for big group. Location is convenient enough to lake tekapo main area and restaurant with car.

Houses were very close to each other. There is no view at all. Price is too expensive for such house.

I am not sure where the noise came from. During the night it was sometimes difficult to sleep because of an outside noise. Sounded like a bin lid or something loose on the side of the house. The wind was blowing quite hard when happened.

Very easy to check in, comfy rooms, very well maintained

Could be priced bit cheaper for people to use for large groups

Our stay was fantastic! The home was clean, comfortable, and very well looked after. The addition of ensuites to every room was fabulous as everyone had their own space! The location was wonderful and although quite a few new homes were in the process of being built around the house, we feel that it didn't affect our stay at all. It was a lovely home and we’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others!
