bathroom didnt have shower - you needed to shower with the bucket of water one wall was wet - so the room was humid and kind of stinky because of that

The room and the mattress were fine, the air conditioning was noisy so you didn't risk forgetting it on during the night and getting sick, but the services were non-existent. In the true sense of the word. If you want to take a dip in the past and relive the times when you washed yourself with a bucket of water from a tub, fine, but you have to know it in advance and choose it. In the bathroom there were no sink or shower. Only a squat toilet without a flush and a small well that fills with water with difficulty from a tap that doesn't always come out. You use a plastic bucket with a handle to rinse the squat toilet and also to wash yourself.

I've had the best time with the owner and his family. They are very generous, willing to help and welcomed me as if I was family. The bed is comfortable, it's quiet, close to shops and restaurants and easy to walk to Malioboro street
