I appreciated the friendliness of the person who checked us into our room.

The smoke detector had been removed from the room. The room smelled like cigarettes, so I'm guessing this was to prevent it from going off while previous tenants smoked in it. One of the seats in the room had its cover partially removed, which was strange. There were random parts of the room that were unclean, like paint spots and marks on the shower curtain and toilet seat. Given the situation with the smoke detector and the seat cover, the thinking was, if they won't bother to fix the things we can see, can we trust that everything else is clean and taken care of? We answered no, and so we left to stay at another place we felt more comfortable. Also, the room underneath us had its screen bent in like someone had tried to break into it.

Rooms are big and the parking had lots of spaces. But definitely need some upgrades.

I saw a couple cockroaches and couldn’t relax anymore after that.

I have been here several times when I need to come to LA. Safe location. Beautiful staff.. room comfort 🙂
