The property was in a quiet location with a supermarket nearby. If you like tourist attractions and lots of restaurants right on your door step, this one is probably not for you. However, if you like to immerse yourself in eating and doing as the locals do (like we do) and do not mind walking (Lake Como ferry is half an hour away), then this is a great base. The kitchen is not huge but allowed us to cook our own meals with an oven and cooktop with a sizeable fridge for keeping groceries on hand. There was also a shower-bath set up so if you cannot step into a bath, this would be no good.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable

I will start by saying a big THANKS to the host! Very friendly, polite, hospitable and funny. He helped us a lot, even took us by the train station with luggage, because we were on his way, and borrowed us his umbrellas, because it was raining. Great host. The apartament very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Very nice little balcony to sit and enjoy outside. The location is quiet, great pasticeria cross the street, walkable distance to the center.

We had a great stay. Nothing negative to mention.
