Muizenberg Beach House

We enjoyed the communal pool and that it was walking distance from stores snd beach .

The entire place was not clean at all , air fryer was used and not cleaned , braai stand had dirt and oils from previous guests we had to wash it outrselves , the fridge barely made our food or drinks cold we had to use freezer which froze up our food and. Drinks , upon arrival the beds were not clean the s he eats hardly fit the beds we had to redo the beds ourselves the mats in the bathroom was dirty the white towels we had to wash on arrival because they had stains and were just dirty . The staircase is not safe no rail to hold on the open side the rail is just on the wall which isn’t really useful . The pots as well had excess food from previous guests we had to wash ALL of them . We left the place absolutely clean we cleaned more than we enjoyed property .

Customer communication was good. View was nice. Was comfortable.

The bathroom has a TERRIBLE smell that works its way to the bedrooms, its so bad that my father in law threw up. The bedding had stains on them. The pillows and sheets. No hand soap. The dispenser is there but its empty. No toiletries as stated in the add. Only a very used bottle of body wash.

I liked the 24 hour security and the hospitality of the owner. Whatever problems we faced, the owner fixed.

The wifi was inconsistent. The electricity is prepaid and it finished one morning. There was also an issue with the water one night where it went off.
