Lage mit schönem Ausblick auf die Berge/Sonnenuntergang Zimmer groß und sehr hell. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besitzerin total lieb und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Abendessen. Tolles Frühstück Garten ist ein Blumen - und Vogelparadies.

Eigenes Fahrzeug von Vorteil. Internet manchmal wacklig.

Eine wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war super sauber und der Ausblick von der großen Terrasse ist wunderschön. Jeden Abend einen tollen Sonnenuntergang. Hervorragend ist die liebevolle Art von der Gastgeberin und das wunderbare Dinner. Wir haben uns jeden Tag auf das Essen gefreut. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

The villa is set amongst greenery. Many types of flowers, plants and trees. There’s a pair of sunbirds making a nest by the verandah-balcony. Bird sings, nice view of the mountains. A really peaceful retreat. The host Jenneifer whipped up delicious breakfasts and dinners. The manager Kevin was most helpful with the arrangement of hiking tours and providing information to the various places of interest. A wonderful family run establishment. Having the whole villa to ourselves creates a lot of privacy.

Jennifer deserves a special mention for her outstanding hospitality. Despite our late-night check-in at 1 am, she made my arrival seamless and stress-free. Her dedication to ensuring our comfort was evident right from the start, and her warm welcome instantly made us feel at home. One of the standout features of Hilltop Retreat is undoubtedly the breathtaking view it offers. The picturesque vistas of Matale and its surroundings were absolutely mesmerizing. Whether it was sipping a cup of tea on the balcony or simply gazing at the landscape, the view added a magical touch to our stay. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jennifer and her family for going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They graciously accommodated my request to have breakfast ready by 6 am, as I had an early work commitment. Their attention to detail and commitment to meeting my needs elevated my experience to new heights. Hilltop Retreat truly lives up to its name as a haven of tranquility. It provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, whether you're visiting for work or leisure. The villa offers a serene and comfortable retreat that rejuvenates the soul.
