Hotel Tibet

Very friendly personnel, clean hotel, tasty breakfast. Nice restaurant on the rooftop. Couldn’t ask for more.

Warm and friendly welcome, smiling staff always, over and above assitive. Facility was safe in a compound in diplomatic area in backstreet with many souvenir and gift and jewellery shops. Rooftop bar and restaurant was a bonus.

Breakfast provision was inadequate and extremely poor by international standards. Needs attention. Perhaps as hotel was under occupied, but we should have been informed and had specific provision made for us.

Excellent location , smiling and always helpful staff . Bikash and Dev at front desk were specially helpful and helped direct us to points to sightsee etc.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine. Nice terrace with delicious food. Quite area not far from Thamel shopping area. I felt very welcome.

Beautiful Place tastefully designed. Great and professional staff. Good food. Good value for your money. Staff is so caring they offered us 3 umbrellas for our family when it appeared it was going to rain. Very neat and clean property. Beautiful paintings all around ! Highly recommended. Washrooms had good water pressure.

My only complaint was that their Wifi was not up to the mark.

Very friendly and helpful stuff, very good location near the Tamil and the airport. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. The hotel has an unique style and it is very nice designed with a lot of local details and beautiful photos from the area. I fully recommend.

We had such a great stay at the Hotel Tibet. We met friends there and were so grateful for the place as a launch point for us in Kathmandu. For us, the hotel was centrally located, safe, clean, and although close to Thamel, it was far enough away to be an oasis away from all the vendors/shops/noise/lights/etc.. The hotel was clean and it somehow mixed old Tibetan charm with contemporary conveniences. Our rooms (three in all) were well-appointed and modern with good wifi and nice bathrooms. The staff was maybe the best part. They were so friendly and helpful. We ended up spending a bunch of time in the hotel catching up with friends/family and loved the roof top terrace and delicious menu and bar up there. Hope we are able to come back soon!

What didn't we like? Hmmmm. We are still delighting in our great time there so its hard to think of something that should be improved. There might be cheaper places to stay, but this hotel was SO much nicer, cleaner, modern, better food, etc. After being out and about all day, its so nice to come back and relax and catch up in a high-quality hotel.

I really liked this hotel. Location is good. Close to Thamel and easy access to everything I wanted to do. At the same time it is tucked away from the rush of the city. Hotel itself feels brand new, I guess it was recently renovated. It has a great Tibetan feeling but modern at the same time. Staff professional but friendly and engaging. I would happily stay here on any future visits.
