The location of the hostel is fantastic. Tons of restaurants and cafes, stores, and banks at your fingertips. Quick 5 mins walk down to where island hopping tours leave and close to the trail for Mount Tapyas. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us book an island hopping tour and arranged a tricycle up to Maquinit Falls. They were more than happy to provide additional supplies upon request. WiFi was strong. Breakfast was basic, but tasted great (especially the pancakes). Love that water, tea, and coffee is provided. The bathroom was cleaned several times a day. The room was small, but clean. The bed, pillow, and linens were comfortable enough.

It was strange that there was only one combined toilet/shower for each gender, there should have been at least 2 per gender. It would be nice to have additional storage for belongings (a hand luggage sized suitcase would not fit in the locker). A nice upgrade would be lights and an outlet for the bottom AND top bunk. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Overall okay, quite comfortable and clean. The staff prepared takeaway breakfast so that we could take it with us on our tour.

Shared bathrooms were a bit outdated and not totally clean, the shower lacked a bit of pressure. Our room was bottom floor so was very noisy, we could hear everything from the street.

The location is perfect, the room and bathroom are clean. Pleasant and accomodating staff. The beds are comfy and cozy. Value for money

The location

VERY small rooms, shares bathrooms, cold showers, small beds. In the same price (1700 php) you can find much better deals; bigger rooms with private bathrooms, hot showers, great wifi and great location!

The staff are so lovely and accommodating, they can organise everything for you, as they have a travel guide shop downstairs. I had a single room and it was comfortable and clean, good AC. They always let me hang my dive gear to dry out the back and were so friendly. I stayed in the dorm one night also and it had curtains and a private bathroom, very comfortable sleep. The place has a really nice family vibe, makes it feel homely and cosy. The whole place is spotlessly clean, even in the shared bathrooms.

They could use some more comfortable furniture up on the balcony for relaxing, and maybe some fans up there too. Brewed coffee would be amazing, but you can help yourself to instant whenever you wish to.
