NLThe staff is really friendly and helpful. They are doing a great job, cause the money from the campsite will go to the horses that they rescued. There is electricity in the tent and also a van. The showers and toilets are clean and there is hot water available. Also the option to eat breakfast and dinner is good.
The location is a little bit far from the center of Luang Prabang. The mattresses are thin.

ATOne of the best places I've been to so far. It's a little paradise with the horses around your yurt / tent. Everything is clean, staff and owner are super friendly and speak very good English. Bicycle for free if available. They have a great cook too.
Yurt gets very hot though after like 8/9 in the morning.

PTGreat break from the city hustle and bustle, in a nice environment, including the surrounding areas. To watch the stars at night and hear the animal noises. The yurt has its personality. Good value, in comparison to the market, in my opinion.
A bit cold with no heating, but to be expected.
AUThe yurts look exactly as they do in pictures, everything was very clean and comfortable. I ended up doing a horse ride which was fun, the trainers are lovely and patient :)

VNThis is obviously not where you go for maximum convenience and comfort, but the experience you have will make up for all the lack of comfort. The place was away from the central, touristy area so it was really tranquil. I loved watching the sunrise from my yurt and chilling in the hammock in front in the late afternoon, gazing at the horses and the mountains in the distance and listening to roosters crow. The host was thoughtful enough to introduce me to some nearby attractions that I could get to on foot. The stables also offer riding lessons and riding experiences with extra cost. And if you wish to venture into town, they also have some bicycles you can borrow for free on a first come first serve basis. So really, there are so many ways you can enjoy yourself here. I booked a yurt and it provided me with more space and amenities than what I'd expected from a rather simple accomodation. Having to use a shared bathroom with limited hot water was not ideal, but being strategic about what time of the day I should take a shower solved the problem. It was such a shame I didn't stay long enough to experience everything the place had to offer. I could totally see myself staying here again if I come back to Luang Prabang.
I went during spring time so it got really cold at night in the yurt (for a tropic dweller like me at least). It would be nice to have a portable heater or extra warm blanket during this season.
