The Retreat

It was a beautiful cottage feel, the extra space in the summer house was fantastic, it was so clean and perfectly decorated. The garden is beautiful and the birds singing was a wonderful to listen to with a morning coffee.

WiFi was a little in and out but everything else was absolutely perfect.

The hosts were excellent. Easy to communicate with & really accommodating. The retreat was very well laid out & cosy. Its in a very quiet location.

My only real issue is a personal one but i found the mattress far too soft which might not be an issue for other users.

It is quiet and peaceful, a comfortable bed and hot shower ..

The Retreat is definitely that a beautiful Treat. Exceptional value for money in an absolutely stunning place in the world. So friendly. So beautiful.

Absolutely nothing.

A very nice room with comfortable bed. The outside space would be lovely in summer. Beth was friendly and helpful. Fresh milk in the fridge was much appreciated. Walking distance pubs for meals and cafes for breakfast (but check cafe opening times - too late for early breakfast!)

Such a warm welcome from Beth, spotlessly clean, and a cosy room. Quiet spot, which suited me well and close to my client for the next day.

The WiFi was a touch slow, but I suspect that was the rural nature of the area, but I still managed to stream some live TV. it was fine for general work, emails etc.

Very friendly host, accommodation was perfect for our needs, clean, nice facilities and nice coffee.
