Lovely Home

Location was excellent - 10mins to the Piazza & the dock. All facilities you could want 😁 Comfortable bed, pillows & the best shower in Italy 🇮🇹 Silvana was lovely & my stay was very enjoyable.

Location is excellent, near to train station Como S Giovanni. It is within 5 to 10 min walk to the old city, with lots of restaurants, and the harbour, where the ferries leave for various towns along the Como lakeside, such as Bellagio, Varenna, Lenno & Tramisso. The main long distance bus stop at Piazza Matteotti is next to the harbour, 2 min away. The funicular Como-Brunate is another 3 min walk away, where a beautiful scenary awaits at the top, featuring Como Lake with snow-capped Swiss Alps in the distant background.

Apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no lift. So guest must be fit enough to climb 3 flights of steps. At times the staircase is a little dark when the night lights are not on yet.

Very nice apartment, well equipped and furnished, big enough for a family and you can have a good experience of local life. I will choose Lovely Home next time. Thanks a lot for the landlord, a kind and lovely lady.

Lovely home was perfect for me and my family. A nice spacious and clean apartment in perfect location close to everything in Como. Silvana the host was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We arrived on a public holiday and no shops open to buy food, she very kindly provided us with the ingredients to make a meal. We found the host and home extremely exceptional. Thank you Silvana for your very generous hospitality.

3 flights of stairs to apartment but you get fit and easy to do after the shock wears off 😀

Very close to the city center, clean apartment with a kind owner.

The sofa bed in the living room was not very comfortable. The apartment is in the third floor without elevator.

Great location, lovely hostess very helpful, apartment clean, spacious and very comfortable with great amenities.

When we made the booking we expected a lift but on our arrival we found ithe apartment was located on the 3rd floor Our hostess was kind enough to carry our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. She apologised and explained that she had informed Booking.com previously to change the description of the apartment to show there was no lift but was unsuccessful. As elderly travellers, it was daunting to face the climb of 3 flights of stairs to our apartment at the end of our day out.
