Quiet

I’ve traveled all over the world and have never experienced anything like this. My booking clearly stated that all payments were settled, but when I went to check out, the host (Nadia) refused to let me leave unless I paid in cash. She even refused to open the gate for my taxi, putting me at serious risk of missing my flight — which I only made because it was delayed. It felt manipulative and dishonest, and I strongly suspect this was done to avoid declaring income. Travelers beware: this is not how a professional host behaves
