The only plus was the location of the stay, where you can get to lions rock in just over 5 mins.

The staff were a bit negligent and we had to ask for every detail. The host had his own private party going on and had all the staff at the party. I had to personally run up and down to ask them for things. Also the place has bad power issues. Current keeps going on the middle of the night and when asked about it, the drunk host replied in a rude way saying "I don't charge you enough to have a generator running". Yes! I did choose the basic room, but that doesn't mean we get treated in a different way to other guests that choose their costlier options. Since the time I booked, they have been stressing on the point that it is a basic room and asked me to upgrade via chat. If this is what they have to offer to the guests choosing the basic room, then I guess they should mention that in their rooms description as well saying "BASIC ROOM - BASIC AMENITIES + BAD SERVICE". The bathroom door is some beat up wooden piece that doesn't lock, bad roads to the property, the AC keeps tripping every 5 minutes, the lights keep flickering so badly that you eventually switch them off for peace..... and the list just goes on! NEVER GOING BACK AND NEVER SUGGESTING THIS TO ANYONE!! They treat people based on room booking types. BIGGEST MISTAKE of our Sri Lankan Trip and spoilt the entire mood of the day.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was very good, allowing us to do two hill climbings within half day. We love the view from the rooftop as well.

We had such a wonderful stay at Lakmini Lodge! We arrived around 8 hours before check-in and they welcomed us with open arms, offering us a room right away for a small extra fee — so kind and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the views from the breakfast area overlooking Sigiriya Rock were simply breathtaking. The owners are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us — they organized a fantastic safari where the jeep picked us up and dropped us off at the lodge, and they also arranged a taxi from Sigiriya to Ella with a stop at Dambulla Cave Temple, all for a very fair price. On top of that, they even arranged a tuk-tuk for us at 4:00 AM so we could hike up Pidurangala Rock in time for sunrise — everything was easy, smooth and made with care. Truly a 10/10 experience — we couldn’t recommend it more! Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Struttura in ristrutturazione, la stanno completando, è indicato bar e ristorante ma non c’è nessuno dei due.Eravamno nella camera accanto alla lavanderia, abitazione ancora non ristrutturata, tutto il resto della struttura è nuovo. Sono molto rigidi nell’orario della Colazione che è servita solo dalle 7:30 alle 10 e non sono stati accomodanti nel permetterci di farla mezz’ora prima per poter fare l’escursione. Svariate ragnatele.
