Terborgh Budget Hostel

Bridgette is a fantastic host and the dorm is incredible. Very comfy beds, great showers, all facilities were super clean. There's a common room where you get breakfast which is open all the time with snacks and a bar and board games. Breakfast was great, free coffee! The building itself is a beautiful 15th century castle complete with moat (and plenty of singing frogs). There's woodland walks nearby and a trains station 20 minutes walk away with great links and trains running twice an hour all through the day and night. The adjoining pub looked great too though we didn't have chance to eat or drink there. We will be back for pinkpop next year! Thanks Jordan and Tom

The Host was very nice. And overall its such a nice location.

Best if you go with big groupe of people.

Bit disturbing noise and light

We signed up for trail run close to the castle. I was expecting a really basic hostel type situation which was not the case. On arrival we were blown away by the size of the court yard, not even mentioning the sleeping hall which was spacious and clean. The showers were really good as well as the toilets. The following day we were up early preparing for the trail run, coffee was ready and breakfast was served by our super nice host. I am definitely coming back here again if I am in the area again. Highly recommended.

Everything was good, of course when you in sleeping hall with other people their sleeping schedules and way of sleeping can be different but nothing you can do about that. Tip would be just take pack your sleeping mask and ear plugs.

The nature around was nice. The castle was nice and beautiful.

There was a wedding being held in the castle's yard while we were staying there. The wedding finished at 12 but actually since the property was in nature, there was not much we could do after it was dark (We were also not planning for it) So all we could do was to stay in the room with a VERY loud music next to us, caused us headache. I'd recommend earbuds for sure if you wanna stay here just in case.
