The Imperial Apartment

Central location was excellent, several restaurants within 5 mins walk

Single room had a water tank inside the cupboard which was bit noisy during the night

The apartment is ideally located close to the beaches and town amenities. Very clean, bright, comfortable with everything you need. Generous breakfast hamper is provided. The host is very responsive to any query.

The location was amazing, just off the high street and near the beach, and right next to a large free car park. The apartment was roomy, had a beautiful comfortable feel and was well laid out. There was a fantastic welcome basket generously supplied with bread, pastries, apples, bananas, tablet, and muesli. The fridge had butter, milk and orange juice. There was a vase of flowers next to the basket. The kitchen was spacious; plenty of crockery, glasses, and cooking utensils. There was a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. There was a washing machine in a separate cupboard. There were myriad games, DVDs, and books; Wi0fi and Free TV. All aspects of our comfort had been thought of and supplied. The instruction manuals were well written and contained useful information (although we would recommend updating the green fees in the golf clubs described as these dated from 2013 and are certain to have increased significantly since then!)

The bathroom was modern and there was a large double shower with rain-sprinkler head. There was plenty of hot water to the tap in the wash basin but we could not work out how to achieve this for the shower - the water was tepid at best and could not be adjusted any further than it was. A shame, as this was the one and only negative aspect of our entire stay.

Host left a lovely gift basket full of local treats, including bread, butter in the fridge, crossaints.. Loved the spacious apartment with a picturesque view out the living room window and a view of the sea out the bedroom. Very well located to walk around town. Spacious shower. Lots of good directions for how things run in the apartment. Very very comfortable bed and pillows. Host very accessible by phone for questions.

While I did not have a problem myself and it worked when I got there... I have had a similar locked key holder break and never re-open so I did not feel comfortable using that keyholder during my stay... but it worked fine when I got there. Similarly, I was having some challenge with the programmed lock to get into the building though it always ultimately worked... I had not told the host so this is the first they know... I am sorry about that. The kitchen was not as well stocked with cooking materials as I thought it would be given what I read hebs/spices, salt, pepper. And not much in the way of how to wrap/save left overs. Otherwise, totally excellent!!
