Myrtos View Apartments

Not much to say about it,is alright if you going just to sleep overnight.

Is not what you see in advertisement in the pictures,excepts the room that was the same as in the pictures, but there isn’t any sea view at all,those are pictures from other hotels. Overpriced,wouldn’t pay more than 40-50€ per night even the locals were suprised when I told them how much I paid for 2 nights. Something else to not is the location, is a nightmare don’t search it by the name “ Myrtos view apartments “ that’s completely different hotel nothing to do with this one, most of the hotels there are called “Myrtos View” dont get confused use the location they will send to you in the welcome message.

First of all do NOT confuse this place with the OTHER Myrtos View apartments located in Anomeria. This hotel is on the location of the former restaurant Prime. It is located on the edge of Divarata 50 meters from the center square. As such the location is EXTREMELY convenient. You're just a short walk away from 4 restaurants, one with an amazing view of Myrtos bay, a convenience store, an ice cream place, a store for beach essentials and a kiosk and, of course, let's not forget the mere 5 minute drive to what is widely regarded one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet (at least if you're not afraid of heights and the lack of guard rails). There is plentiful parking and Divarata is strategically a great location to reach Argostoli, Fiskardo and Sami all within just half an hour or so. As for the room, it is a good value for the money. Yes, there is no air-conditioning, but the ceiling fan at max speed and an additional fan provided did a decent job at keeping the place cool even during a rampant heat wave. In addition the west-facing terrace overlooking Myrtos bay was nice and cool for most of the morning and similarly the east-facing terrace overlooking the beautiful mountains in late evening (yes, you got a terrace on both sides). There was a daily cleaning service and the cleaning lady was really nice and friendly and did her job well. The kitchen was small but had all the amenities needed. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would look forward to coming again to the same hotel to experience Kefalonia once more.

Location

The bathroom is too small and water flows out of the shower enclosure easily. The building exterior photos need to be included in the advert as we followed the coordinates and ended up in the adjacent building with similar numbers.

Very close proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen in my life, very quiet at night and lots to do in the surrounding cites with a short drive.

Excellent self catering apartment with a beautiful view towards myrtos beach and the coast, as well as the mountains. Very clean and well looked after. Really good location a few mins walk from the small town with several restaurants and shops. Plenty of glasses, plates and cutlery, plus washing up facilities. A big fridge with a freezer section. In late Aug, the ceiling fan and having windows open was perfectly cool enough at night and there are screens to keep bugs out.

The shower is quite small. The kitchen facilities are basic - kettle, one hob and a kind of folding grill device, but with patience and creativity you can make some decent meals

Amazing view and location to myrtos beach. Central spot to explore the rest of the island. Check in/ out was nice and easy.

The shower didn’t drain well and the shower curtain wasn’t to the ground so everything got wet in the bathroom when you showered.

Location was great. Rooms were nice. There was no ac, so it was a bit ucomfortable being we were there during a heat wave.
