Lake Vision Guesthouse

The room was very clean and comfortable. There is some street noise, but this is expected given the location! Everyone that works there is lovely and were helpful with booking buses ect. They even drove us to the bus station! Would definitely recommend staying here

Excellent value for money and absolutely wonderful staff, the welcome is warm and the showers are great....the views from the top deck are stunning.

I like the receptionists, they are very friendly. The facilities are clean and very accessible.

Probably couldn't be a better positioned guesthouse, not far up a small hill and convenient entrance on street 21, close to the best Lakeside cafes and restaurants. The desk and chair requested gave me an excellent place from which to work, with commanding views overlooking the lake. I received a great deal for the top-floor room. Hot water was good. Bed was comfortable.

This lowered my score for an otherwise wonderful week's stay, but the Booking Office repeatedly was pushy about money, and ripped me off. This included charging an extra Rs200 for bus tickets, that were clearly less (and my friend paid the correct price elsewhere), and a substantial price request for a half-day scooter rental. May this review teach the young manager, that it pays to be honest, and for a few hundred rupees, probably cost the property more in the end.
