"Average place for nomads."

6.0

The room was sparkling clean and enormous!

In this modern world, unacceptable that wi-fi is too weak to support basic email and a photo upload. Not for a nomad. Food was average. No sunsets because of cumulus clouds.

"Excellent stay, professional staff great facilities"

10.0

Our stay at Solitude Acacia was wonderful. We arrived two hours before check-in, but our room was already ready, and checking in was no problem at all. Originally, we had planned to stay for only two nights, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by an extra night just before leaving the Philippines. The resort is perfectly located, and the staff members were exceptional—friendly (especially the waiters), professional, and always helpful. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you need to relax and unwind in a peaceful natural setting, far from the noise and crowds of the city. The food was absolutely delicious, and having the beach just steps away was incredible. The seawater was pristine, and snorkeling among the vibrant marine life was a true highlight of our trip. We also got to use the paddle-board to explore the surrounding waters, not to mention the breathtaking sunset views we enjoyed every evening.

In these times when we must be conscious of the world we live in, I believe it's important—not just for the planet but also for hotels finance—to avoid changing bath towels every day. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I think we should adopt more eco-friendly policies regarding bedsheets and towels. On the day we arrived, we encountered a small issue in our room: the toilet had no seat. After notifying the front office, they seemed surprised by my complaint. However, they contacted maintenance, and within a few hours, the issue was resolved. Not a huge deal, but maybe double-checking rooms before guests arrive could save some hassle.

"We couldn’t ask for more in a week’s escape just 2.5 hours away from the city! We will definitely be back!"

9.0

We enjoyed every minute at Solitude Acacia - thanks to the wonderful and attentive staff, the comfortable and clean accommodations, good smelling sheets and soaps/shampoo, and best of all - the menu and coffee selection that made every meal a satisfying experience! The location is easily accessible and provides ample parking. Rooms come with smart TVs and good wifi that supports up to 4 gadgets per guest.

Location and view. We reserved a sea view room and were surprised to be given a ground floor room with very little view when we arrived but the staff made it right, which we appreciated, by upgrading us. We had an issue with the food, either we are not used to the oil used to cook or it is not changed often enough. A lot of stairs in the resort, not a problem for us but could be an issue for older / people with reduced mobility.
